Math Whiz!

Hello everyone!   Another student in our class earned her certificate today for Xtra Math!  Do'olo has been working very hard on her addition facts both at home and at school!  She has now mastered all the addition facts to 10!  For her hard work, Do'olo earned a certificate, a pencil, and this blog posting!  Do'olo will now be working on her subtraction facts for Xtra Math!   Congratulations Do'olo!

Tristan

"Peace Out Everyone!"  Tristan is our student of the week this week.  His favorite color is BLUE.  Tristan would love to visit Disney World someday.  His favorite television program is called Zig and Sharko.  When Tristan grows up, he would like to be a snowboarder (knuckle dragger).  He has 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 birds for pets.  Tristan's favorite book is Aesop's Fables.  His favorite sport is soccer and his favorite food is macaroni.  Tristan is special because he has a good family but the VERY BEST thing about Tristan is that he is a good person!

Chloe

This is Chloe!  She is the student of the week!  Chloe's favorite color is PINK!  She would love to visit Disney someday.  Chloe loves to watch Full House on television.  When she grows up, Chloe would like to be a Paleontologist to find dinosaur bones.  Her favorite book is called Charlie.  Chloe loves to play soccer.  Her favorite food to eat is pizza.  Chloe is special because she has a good family.  But the VERY BEST thing about Chloe is the fact that she is nice and fun!

Rainforest Assembly

Parents,

Today we were fortunate enough to have a 'teaser' assembly about rainforest animals!  Mr. Mike brought in a few animals and talked to the students about the rainforest.  It was a fantastic show and the kids were EXTREMELY engaged!

Mr. Mike and his staff will be at Bentheim Elementary School for two shows this evening.  The show times are 5:30 and 7:30.  He said the set is fantastic and there will be MANY MORE animals to see and discover at the show!

In your child's mail today is a reminder note about the show.  Admission is $5.00 per person, but will be well worth the fee if you can make it.  Mr. Mike also said that if your child brings along the reminder notice, they will recycle them for you AND your child will be able to touch a live ALLIGATOR!

Please be certain to check your child's mail today for that note and thank you for considering taking your family to the show!

Isaac

This is Isaac!  He is our student of the week this week!  Isaac's favorite color is RED.  He would love to visit Hawaii someday.  Isaac's favorite movie is Indiana Jones.  When he grows up, Isaac would like to be an archaeologist.  Isaac has three dogs named Lexie, Sophie and Rosie.  His favorite book is also Indiana Jones.  Isaac's favorite sport is soccer.  His favorite food is macaroni and cheese.  Isaac is special because he is a good person, but the VERY BEST thing about Isaac is the fact that he is a NICE PERSON!

Taylor

This is Taylor!  She is our student of the Week this week!  Taylor's favorite color is BLUE!  She would love to visit Chicago.  Taylor's favorite television program is Full House.  When she grows up, she would like to be a zoo worker.  Taylor has LOTS of pets:  dogs, cats, chickens, fish and a chinchilla!  Her favorite book is No, David, No!  Her favorite sport is soccer.  Taylor loves to eat macaroni and cheese.  Taylor is special because she is creative.  The very BEST thing about Taylor is that she has a good family!
