Teusink's Farm Trip

Well, the decision to postpone our trip to Teusink's Farm in May was a great move!  Today was an absolutely beautiful day to spend on the farm!  It was just the right temperature, and the sun shone the entire time.  On our bus ride back to school, I was scrolling through the MANY pictures I took today and told the kids around me that I took 125 photos!  Phew!  Tonight I weeded through some of them, and still ended up with 96 to share with you!  I want to get the blog out in a timely fashion because I have plans for blog entries tomorrow, Thursday and Friday!  So... this blog will be mostly pictures, and little writing!  Enjoy the photos of your child having a wonderful day!

We started our day by feeding the goats, sheep and ducks!  Each child got two handfuls of feed.

Next, we went to look at some neat birds!

After the cool birds, we took a little walk through the woods and our next stop was the pony ride!  I made certain to get a picture of each child on their pony!

Next stop was the hayride!  Again, I tried to get a shot of each child in class!  No easy feat with a crowded wagon full of bodies and a teacher who is trying not to climb over everyone to get a photo!

Next we went to the fishing pond!  After a late start, several teams did catch a fish or two!

Our final station was in the barn.  Mr. Teusink brought out several baby animals for us to get a close look at and to pet!  Then we walked through the barn to see the momma animals as well!

Finally, it was time for lunch!  We enjoyed our sack lunches in the picnic area, and then ended up our time by taking a class picture!  Thanks to the many parents and grandparents for joining us for this very special day!  Check the blog again in the next few days for more updates!  I am squeezing in as many memories as I can these final few days!
