Congratulations to Ethan! This week he mastered his addition math facts to 10! He has been concentrating and staying focused each time he visited Xtra Math and his hard work has paid off! Ethan earned a certificate and mechanical pencil for his efforts. He will now work on his subtraction facts from 10!
You can help your child at home! Log in to Xtra Math at home and have your child practice daily. At school, each child visits Xtra Math 2-3 times per week. Encourage your child to stay focused - especially on the very first quiz. The program requires correct responses 3 CONSECUTIVE times (on three separate visits) before considering the fact mastered. Only the first quiz taken is recorded - the 'race the teacher' quizzes are just for practice.
When the kids earn 20+ smiley faces on a session at school, they get to have their picture emailed home! If you receive an email, please praise your child to encourage them to keep working hard!
Congratulations again to Ethan for this amazing accomplishment! There are several more children who are getting close to their goal as well!
